What is PineDrama? The short drama app, explained
A plain-English guide to PineDrama, the TikTok-style app for minute-long drama episodes — what it is, how the coin system works, and whether you need to pay.
PineDrama is a mobile app for vertical short dramas: full scripted series cut into episodes of one to two minutes, shot for your phone screen. Think of a soap opera compressed into TikTok-sized pieces — cliffhanger included, every ninety seconds.
How the format works
A typical series runs 60–90 episodes. The first batch is free; after the hook (usually around episode 10–15), episodes unlock with in-app coins. You can earn small amounts of coins by checking in daily or watching ads, or buy them in packs. This freemium model is standard across the genre — apps differ mainly in pricing and how generous the free tier feels.
What kind of shows are on it
The catalog leans hard into a few beloved tropes:
- Billionaire romance — contract marriages, fake fiancées, cold CEOs
- Werewolf — alphas, lunas, rejected mates
- Revenge — discarded daughters and framed wives coming back stronger
- Second chance — regretful ex-husbands, ten-years-later reunions
Browse our drama directory to see what's currently airing and filter by genre.

Do you need to pay?
No — but patience is part of the free plan. Daily check-in coins typically cover an episode or two per day. If a series is also on a platform with a free ad-supported tier, we flag it on the drama's page under "Where to watch."
Who are the actors?
That's the question this site exists to answer. PineDrama doesn't publish full cast lists, so we maintain one: every actor we can verify, their real names where known, socials, and complete filmographies. Start with the actor directory.
PineDrama.actor is an independent fan-made database and is not affiliated with PineDrama.
