Privacy policy

PineDrama.actor is a content site. You can read everything on it without an account, and we only ever ask you for one piece of personal information: an email address, if you choose to subscribe.

What we collect

• Email address — only if you subscribe to Short Drama Weekly or follow an actor. Along with it we store your chosen genre preferences, which actors you follow, and the page you subscribed from.
• Usage analytics — aggregate page-view data via Vercel Analytics (and Google Analytics, if enabled), used to understand which pages are useful. This data does not identify you personally, and we do not use advertising trackers.
• Outbound click counts — when you tap a “Where to watch” button we record that the button was clicked (which drama, which platform, which page). No personal identifier is attached.

How your email is used

Solely to send you the newsletter and follow alerts you asked for. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with advertisers. Ever.

Who processes it

Subscriber data is stored in our database (hosted on Supabase) and synced to Beehiiv, the email service that delivers the newsletter. Beehiiv processes your address only to send our emails, under its own privacy policy. Our site is hosted on Vercel.

Unsubscribing

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also write to hello@pinedrama.actor and we’ll delete your address from both our database and Beehiiv within 48 hours.

Cookies

We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Analytics runs cookieless or with minimal first-party state, depending on provider configuration.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you (your email address and the preferences above — nothing else), to request its deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@pinedrama.actor; we respond within 45 days, normally much sooner.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above changes with it and the new version applies from publication.
